Gretchen von Getelo is a stunning 3-4 year old long haired German Shepherd with a striking presence and a very affectionate nature with people. She is a good-sized female who starts her outings with a calm, sweet demeanor. Her heart truly belongs to people. She loves to greet everyone and will enthusiastically close the distance the moment she hears her name or senses affection is on the way. Gretchen is mid energy, responds to verbal cues and will do best in a home with some experience. On walks she maintains a leisurely pace right by your side, and likes to gather all the information she can by sniffing her environment. She can do well walking alongside other dogs, and mingling with respectful dogs in playgroup, but doesn't need another dog in the home. (Cats are not on her friends list.)
